Description

This Philips CD-i 450/550 Power Adapter swaps out the strange stock PSU that relies on an RJ45 jack to link to the console. Anyone acquainted with ethernet cables knows the plastic tab on an RJ45 plug will inevitably break off. After that, the plug loosens and begins to slip out of the jack. While this might not be a huge problem for a network connection, it’s completely unacceptable for a power connection. And considering that over the years, many consoles have become separated from their original PSUs, finding replacements can prove costly and challenging due to limited supplies.

This adapter utilizes TWO 5V power adapter and a short Ethernet cable.  Do NOT use a Y-adapter with a single power source or your adapter will short and die.
